I dont see why it wouldn't be, there have been pin on hoods on the streets for years before I was even born. I think in that issue Mr. Norm also uses that piece or a similar one.

I'd go with the shaker hood or just the stock hood. Back in the day of the"old school" Challengers those were the hoods from what i've seen. you might be able to replace the hood stripes and get a solid flat black piece to go on. I don't know. but that is as "old school as it gets in my opinion.

Any thoughts on the stripe replacement?
Do aftermarket companies have anything like that?
Is it even possible to pull the stripes off?
