Not much, heck, no word at all about a vert' from Dodge. Camaro's concept vert' is out now.[&:]
Here is rendering that was provided by Brenda Priddy and Company (BP&C).

I guess so far the latest rumor is that they will make a Convertible during the second year of production. I think it's a pretty good chance since the Camaro will come in a Convertible model and the Mustang already does. I myself am going to wait in the hopes that they will make a Convertible and maybe even a 'cuda by then and also it will give me more time to save money for it.

I haven't heard anything offical about one. I hope they do since I know it will sell. Frankly if they made a convertible for the PT Crusier then they should offer one for the Challenger if you ask me.

RLS, LOL, We are trying to think rationally and logically in regards to the Automobile industry. Maybe we are the crazy ones. I didn't even think about the PT Cruiser, didn't they even make a Convertible out of one of those ugly K-Cars or little New Yorkers back in the day?. Man, How stupid would they be if they didn't make a Challenger Convertible. Don't u think if Chrysler made a 'cuda their sales would go up?

A while back everyone was talking about the possibility of an aftermarket kit (grille, possibly slightly changed fenders, or at least plymouth badges.) if not an actual production vehicle; if they make a Daytona RT Ram Truck or Charger, the possibility of a `Cuda is definitely feasible. I do think if they were to make one, it would be slightly more like a daytona over a standard r/t model in price.

Exactly the problem with Chrysler currently is their management is thinking illogically. They don't have an economy car when gas prices are high and think the way to compete in this market is to make more gas guzzling SUVs. They use an expensive 5-speed auto from MB that yeilds no advantages over their 4-speed when they have their own 5-speed that is both less expensive to build and actually does yeild benefits.

Yes they made the LeBaron convertible. I actually didn't think those looked too bad for their day to be honest.

The Challenger warrants a convertible, not offering one would be a big mistake. If the PT Cruiser has one, then the Challenger should have one.

I'd say if the Chrysler division would end their stupid strategy of cheapness and rid itself of the Plymouth line-up (PT Cruiser, non C models of the 300, base and Touring levels of the Sebring, non-luxury levels of the Town & Country, etc.) and return those to their rightful owner to revive Plymouth, a Cuda would be the perfect addition as long as it competes as a Plymouth is supposed to (ultimate discount performance no flashy stuff like leather and such).

Plymouth would be successful again because its legendary muscle car would be back to identify the brand with, but since I know that reviving Plymouth is about as likely as me running DCX, I hope Chrysler will consider adding the Cuda to its line-up, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
