I would have rather it had a grey or even a red TA stripe. I didnt even notice the stripe till you noticed, But that was probably their point.

Yeah, some people prefer the flashy look while others prefer more of a sleeper kinda look, I've even seen a black '71 'cuda with the black billboard stripe, what I always thought was extra cool about having so many options was that not too many Challengers or 'cudas were identical, each was special.

I forgot to mention that sometimes if the stripes on the hood were black or even in some cases the whole hood it wasn't just for looks but served a purpose because it was anti-glare so in that senario I could definately see getting the black on black combo.

lol, I forgot something else...sometimes the stripes and decals on the sides would be reflective so you might not notice them during the daytime but at nite when lights would hit 'em they looked really sharp.

It would look good if it was a base coat clear coat black with the concept challenger hood or better yet a shaker.. But 392 Hemi i will take it!!!!!
