I'm installing mud flaps and need to lift the back end of the R/T to take off the back wheels. I have a rolling hydraulic jack (lift) and was wondering if lifting at the differential is the best place to lift the rear end? Is there a better spot to lift it? Of course, I will put a jack stand onder the rear axle and lower the car on it for saftey before removing a wheel. Does this sound like a good plan? Thanks
Lots of other cars I've owned had jacking points - even for floor jacks and frame lift hoists - illustrated in the owner's manual.
Having said that... I don't remember seeing that info in my Challenger manual, although I wasn't actually looking for it.
