Looking for information on my chassis set-up. I am building a 72 challenger street/strip drag radial car. 12 pt. cage with minimal body modifications. has magnum force front suspension with all the caltracs rear. my question is when putting the motor/mid plate is it better to leave the engine/trans offset or to center them. I was always under the assumption to center them but while lining up the trans i found that i need to severely alter the trans tunnel to accomodate this. would i be better to only slightly offset the motor/trans to try and keep it as centered as possible? guess any info would be appreciated
