09 SRT8 Hood Stripes
Just got my 09 SRT8 
Yay!
I thought the hood stripes past 08 were going to be just flat black. Mine are carbon fiber. Do all 09 srt8s come with the carbon fiber stripes?

It's kinda nice in a way having a new car that will not look dated the second year. There will be no way to tell an 08 from an 09 if it is orange, black or silver........
However, I would have liked Chrysler to have made some small change to make the "limited Edition" 08 different from the 09s (other than the dash plate)

Lets see... there was the "exclusivity" of Hemi Orange for 08s... but then they continued for 09 anyway. Then there was the "exclusivity" of Carbon Fiber Stripes for 08s... but then they continued for 09 anyway. Then there was the "exclusivity" of the Numbered Badge Plaque for 08s... have you checked to see if there is a number on the dash plaque on yours todd..??

I thought they were supposed to be exclusive to the 08. Didn't somebody try to order aftermarket carbon stripes for an 09 and get told that they had to prove they had an 08 to get them?

The fact that's it's an 08 says it all. If you're still around in 20 years or so, or sooner if Chrysler/Dodge goes away, we'll see who takes the big money at the car auction. The 1971's never come close to the money a 1970 brings and same rule will apply for the 2008 vs 2009 and Craig Jackson of Barret Jackson, along with Jay Leno have both stated so. Why do you think they got 2008's. Being first counts because no remembers who was second. IMVHO..
