lol RUBBERBNDMAN

All the mods I have done are with the intentions of retaining 100% of the street manners, and to drive daily.

I kind of thought so....but it would make a nice center piece in the living room as long as you put a cover on it.
I drove mine in the rain...I am so bad.

I will post dyno sheets for each mod when the converter is installed for the last trip to the dyno.

Before I forget, If any of you are changing the thermostat out you wont find it for any of the LX cars under 203. My 180 is from a 2005 Stratus 3.0L

The car now runs at a cool 190ish and oil temp is 205
The tuner said I will see 8-10 HP just for bringing the temp down

So Andre... will changing the stat change air/fuel ratio or anything like that. To your knowledge could it cool the motor enough to cause the cats to cool down and not perform properly... if so is there any possible negative ramifications down the road such as the cats getting gunked up or anything like that?

Chris,
The 180 seemed low to me, and I had a choice of 180, 190 or 195. I am trusting my tuner on the recommendation. Many of the LX cars at the dyno day had the 180 stats.

In short, good question but I dont think so. He tuned my car with the 180 stat in mind

99% of LX owners use 180 stat andre, it was a great recomendation.

Thanks for the input Kevin. It was the one mod I gave no thought to until Sunday
