Default A boy and his Dodge.

    Hello all!
My name's Dan and I'm new to your site.
My Challenger is a 74 Rally, 116,??? I can't remember the last three digits, but it was made August 8th, 1973, so it is one of the last batches of Challengers to be built by the Hamtramck Michigan factory.
It was sold new in an L.A. dealership and spent most of its life on the west coast until I bought it from a friend who had it as a daily driver in Seattle Washington.
It was originally B-5 blue with a white vinyl roof and rally stripes.
When I started restoring it, it was so clean that all I had to replace was the bottom half of the right rear quarter panel. Talk about a money and time saver!
Now it is black, with a black vinyl roof cause that's the way I want it.
I kinda like the fact that it's not a hi-po 70 or 71, because I don't have to be afraid of driving it, which I try to do as often as I can.
I've been having an ignition problem of late, if anyone wants to take a look at the thread, I would welcome any insight from all you old pros out there.
    Sincerely, DanT.
