Brake Dust
You guys get a tremendous amount of brake dust off your four-wheel discs?
I got some (*SHREEEK*) bug splatters on my car and I was washing them off and then noticed all this black dust all over my car. I was traumatized. I'd imagine the dust must be really abrasive.
See, that's why I was thinking about changing the stock 20" rims to a Centerline-syle rim; to keep all the brake dust from getting all over the body of the car. It looks like hell.
FYI, I drive the Challenger "like an old grandpa" and have not been really leaning on the brakes at all.
I've got 122,000 miles on the original brakes in my Jeep Cherokee.

how many miles on it? could be that the brakes are still seating in.
i had a lot of dust for the first few hundred miles and then it went
away for the most part, i use eagle one wheel cleaner and spray
it good on the back side of the wheel and then hose it off.
works great

If your brake dust problem contunues, you can switch to high performance ceramic pads. I recommend Hawk or Satisfied Pro Ceramics.
On my SRT, the brake dust is 10X worse because they use no-compromise carbon composition pads for maximum stopping power.
