re: look at this
Years ago I was dead set on getting a 1970 Challenger but just could not afford it and would want to drive it more than once a week when the weather was right. Once the 2009 SE Challenger came out that was affordable and had the same looks and I can really drive it everyday and has all of the creature comforts of today I was 100% sold on a new one instead. The steering, brakes, wind noise overall lack of solidness and quiet interior of the old leaves alot to be desired. I also remember those horrible seatbelts that had no give in them. THe lap belt is stored on the ceiling too. Give me todays model anytime and it is one I can afford too. The originals value is so high that no normal person can buy one that has a family and I would always be shut out of getting an original too.
I love the originals don't get me wrong to look at. But to pay for, insure and own for a once a week drive and limited parts availability no thanks.
