Default Mopar '10 Challenger Details Revealed!

- Mopar ’10 Challenger will arrive in dealerships next month.
- Mopar will build 500 Mopar ‘10s.
- MSRP is $38,000 for an automatic and $1,000 more for a manual.
- The engine will be the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine augmented by the cold air intake and functional hood scoop and vintage hood pins
- Mopar estimates an increase in hp of about 15 through the addition of the cold air intake and the all-new hood venting system.
- This vehicle will also include the Super Track Pack suspension–our most aggressive, complemented by Mopar front and rear powder-coated strut tower braces.
- 20-inch forged heritage gloss-black wheels
- Black-chromed grille surround
- Mopar graphics are everywhere – - – on the front fascia, hood, hood-pin caps, body-side stripes, windows and on the chromed fuel door.
- Available only in black with a choice of three accent colors: Mopar Blue, Red or Silver
- Inside, look for Katzkin leather seating with stitching that matches the exterior stripe
- Custom leather-wrapped steering wheel
- Mopar T-handle Shifter for automatics
- Special Hurst short throw shifter with pistol grip for manual transmissions
- Mopar will deliver this car with a special owner kit that will include a certificate highlighting the vehicle identification number (VIN), date of build completion, and build number.
- The kit will also include a limited-edition sketch of the vehicle signed by exterior designer Mark Trostle, a book that highlights the vehicle build, and other Mopar ’10 merchandise.
- Mopar expects 20% manual transmission and 80% automatic.
- The car will be displayed Saturday night, July 24 at the Chrysler Museum Gala. And at the same time, we will show it at the Mopar Mile-high Nationals in Golden, Colorado.

It looks pretty awesome. If you have 40K to spend on an RT, this is probably the way I would go. If I had 40K to spend though, I'd probably start thinking about an SRT...

If I had $40K, I'd buy another SE outright and make a VERY hefty downpayment on a second.

You'd buy that anemic little V6? When you already have a perfectly good V8? Wait, what's that you say? You mean that Challenger of yours that you always brag about is a lowly SE???? Mind = Blown

Joking of course. We all know you love your SE.

However, you COULD use the 40K to buy the SE, for 25K or so, and then spend the other 15K doing something awesome with it.....like dropping in a crate motor
