RE: Surprise Surprise Surprise!!!!!
Folks, you'll have to forgive mopar2ya if he seems to be asking odd questions. He's despondent because the DAY AFTER he registered the domain name of his new forum, gmdodgechallamaro.com, news comes out that the proposed merger of those companies just may not take place. And now he's discovered that someone already is sitting on the name renaultnissandodgechallenger.com, which means it's going to cost him a lot more than $24.95 to get the web rights to that name.

cool! An owner of both an SRT8 6 speed Challenger and a Mustang GT. I've only the mustang right now, and if I get a Chally I'll have to unload the Mustang. Perhaps you can help me decide whether to make the switch. Can you compare the cars for me in terms of seating comfort, interior room, smoothness of ride, road noise, wind noise, engine/drive train, and power? thanks!!

Which one gets the nod for each category? Seating comfort: Challenger. Interior room: Challenger. Smoothness of ride: Challenger. Road noise (or more accurately, lack thereof): Challenger. Wind noise (again, lack thereof): Challenger. Engine/drive train and power: Challenger.
All that said, what may be a more important consideration at this point: Which car is likely to be around a year from now? For that category: Mustang. Yeah, that's something you might want to consider. Some of those of us who have Challengers are already figuring we're going to have collectors items on our hands very soon. However, realistically, we also might get stuck with DeLoreans: Automotive oddities that while everyone will look at one, nobody really wants to buy it.
