2009 Inferno Red Challenger R/T
Hi all, I am a new menber. I purchased a 2009 Inferno Red Challenger R/T on 01/16/09 from Tate Dodge in Glen Burnie Md. Package 24J, power sunroof, R/T Hood to fender stripes and 20" X 8.0 Aluminum Chrome Clad Wheels and Sirus Satellite Radio. I love this car and get nothing but looks and compliments. Bought mine before the Employee Pricing, but did get $3000.00 off the $34,980 Total Price to pay $31,980. I was informed last week by several dealers that I had been in contact with that the Employee Pricing is no longer available on the Challengers in Maryland DC area. I was going to wait for the Camaro SS this Spring, but realized that the SS with leather and the added packages is going to cost near $40,000 and just think the Challenger is a much better looking car. Not worried about the Camaro having more horsepower or quicker 0 to 60 times. I didn't buy my Challenger R/T to race anyone. Click thumbnail below to see a picture of my Challenger!

Welcome Bob from Maryland where I was born. Enjoy the Challenger. I know you say you didn't buy it to race but, you will, trust me you will...

Congrats O,you did good, you would not done any better with E/P,I highly doubt, that even with E/P,any one would get all what you got for that money. Congrats again, and that proves on how dealer shopping makes all the difference in the world. Adealer told me yesterday, that E/P is back on the challengers, but like I said, you got a sweet deal that won,t be topped.

Welcome to the forum Bob, Sound's like you made a great deal. You are not going to believe how much attention and thumbs up these cars get from others. Just be sure to add or give your self plenty of time when you go someplace. Because there will be someone asking about it every time you get out of it .

Hi: I added a picture of my Inferno Red Challenger in my post above under "2009 Inferno Red Challenger R/T". Click the Red X and it will show up.... Took the car down to Ocean City Md. for the weekend and could not believe the number of THUMBS UP and compliments I received. Even from a Mustang Cobra owner on Coastal Highway!

The attention is insane. I live in San Diego and everytime I go somewhere, even if its 5 miles down the road to a grocery store people always stare. Kinda weird considering that I live next to symbolic motorsports ( any exotic vehicle you can imagine bugatti etc....) you would think people would be like, meh. And I find your cobra comment funny since I pulled up next to a 06 shelby gt. Kinda thought he was gonna talk shit at first but he had nothing but nice things to say.
