My dad and I got my grandparents to get a new 09 Ram today.
quad cab, SLT, 5.7 Hemi for 27K.

One sweet ride is all I have to say. AND I got a free dealership hat for being such a mopar nut. I knew more than most of the salesmen there. AND on top of that my dad is buying my grandpa's 96 Ram 1500 Club Cab with the 5.9 Magnum. My only problem with the 96 is the height of the truck, Which can easily be fix with some aftermarket steps.

Couple questions.
Should I buy some parts for the 96?
If so. What?
What should I get for steps. Power steps? Running boards?

I'm jealous, tdub. I didn't get a free hat when I bought the Challenger. In fact, I didn't get anything free at all. Of course, Fiesta Dodge (where I bought the car) employs legendary actress Ara Celi (famous for her role as the "Inca Mummy Girl" on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as their spokeswoman, so they probably couldn't afford to give anything away.

Well i woke up today to rain. Thinking only of my grandparents new wheels, I freaked out. I can't stand waterspots on a new car. But then i realized that the truck would be nice and cozy in their garage. Only downside is that the old Ram will get water spots. Should be picking up the 96 tomorrow when we get our boat out to get a wakeboard tower installed. Then I'll spend the day cleaning and polishing him up.
