Default July 4th Weekend?

What's everyone doing for the 4th?

I'll be doing the usual.

9:00am- Parade
11:00am- Lunch
12:00pm- Pull out every firework me and my brother own.
2:00pm- Get ready for fireworks down by the river.
5:30pm- Have birthday party/BBQ for cousin and head out shortly after.
7:30pm- Head down to the river.
10:00pm- Fireworks start.
10:30pm- Fireworks end.
11:00pm- What should have been a 10 min drive home gets tripled because of traffic.
11:05pm- Our fireworks begin.
11:45pm Everyone leaves and our family goes to bed.
12:00pm- Tanner is up watching the Late Late Show with Craig Fergison.

Has anyone here used a torpedo? They were banned a long time ago but I read about them. They were balls that you threw at a wall and they'd explode.

I have a bag of fireworks left over from a couple of years ago. If I had it my way, all kinds of fireworks would be legal everywhere. We only get the safe and sane ones in California, and only the poor cities and the asian-dominated cities sell them. The upper class cities have all outlawed any kind of fireworks. That is so wrong. I hate how uptight people have to ruin the fun for everyone. A lot of people drive a few hundred miles to Nevada to buy good fireworks and bring them back. I'm tempted to move somewhere where they have all kinds of fireworks legal all year round.

Andre, might I suggest thoroughly cleaning your hands and fingers to ensure there is no glue or other forgein matter present prior to the lighting of cherry bombs or other volitile explosive devices... just a thought...

May everyone have a SAFE and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY WEEKEND... [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

I would put the cherry bomb on the ground and light it with a long stick. Then run like hell.
I'd never light one in my hand. They can take your whole hand off.
