Honestly, Im very put off by the shortcuts that have been taken with the Challenger.
I am just planning on paying off my current car (Infiniti M45 Sport) early next...

Since it seems that I'm waiting 2 years now (somewhere around Spring '09), Ive been eyeing up the NEW Mercedes C63 AMG.
I hope by that time there are no serious problems with the Challenger and...

Just my guess, but I would assume they are some sort of LED projectors to enhance the highbeam.
The last run of Infiniti Q45's had LED headlights and looked somewhat similar.

Not to offend anyone that owns one, but Dodge did not do the cars heritage justice.

I was thinking worst case that if the Challenger didnt come with the right options or wasnt what I wanted to pay (due to markup etc...), what other car I would want considering the plentiful choices...

I can see a one year run with one special option (whatever that may be and being numbered), but your right about the investment in the car for Dodge.
I wouldnt argue that.
