RE: Where are the updates, releases, etc. from DCX??

Chrysler has stated that they will keep the car as close to the concept design, which means only slight changes will be made to it. Don't understand what concept Charger you are referring too, the...

RE: Where are the updates, releases, etc. from DCX??

Dodge will show the production version of the Challenger in Feb 2008 at the Chicago Auto Show, after that it will be available to the public about a month after. The hype around this car is so big,...

RE: Anything you DON'T like about the new Challenger

Ya, the shifter needs to be angled like the old style pistol grip. And what tranny is a poor design, Viper 6spd?

RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

Okay, now think about this for a minuet everyone. Why would a dealership sell to Costco if they know they can sell the Challenger for a premium. Costco will act as a middle man and will make sure...

RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

Costco doesn't have a dealership, what they do is negotiate with the dealers that are in town, but like I said, getting a Challenger thru Costco will be impossible on the first year run.

RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

I understand what your saying, but its not the manufacture that adds the extra 10,000 to the MSRP, its the dealers who do this. Chrysler know this, but can't do anything about it. Well, they could,...

RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

LOL, and I suppose you think people should pay MSRP or the gouge prices that the dealers want. Oh, what does MSRP stand for " Manufactures Suggested Retail Price", it suggested price, not written in...

RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

It does work, costco will do the deal, they will call you give you the dealer and related info. I don't think this will work for the Challenger thou, being new and such a hot item, that I doubt they...

RE: 340 or 440-6

My suggestion is to keep the 340 in the Challenger and put the 440+6 in the GTX. The 78 440 is a motorhome motor, it is thin walled compared to the thicker walled 440's that were built 73 and...

RE: Challenger Availability

Do people care about practicality, no they don't. If they did, nobody would buy a Hummer, Porche, Lambo, Ferrari, etc. What practicality do these vehicles have in the U.S. none, you can't do 200 on...

RE: Pistol Grip

Ok, somebody will make a new shifter handle that will resemble the old pistol grip style. Thats if Chrysler in its own canny way doesn't decide to do it first.
