You are right on the money !! I talked to a few people in my area with over 40 years of racing mopars. They agree with you 100 %. I started my 08 Chally yesterday and did not hear any ticking sound....

I drove mine per the factory instructions. 50-60 mph for the first 500 miles, then around 50-70 mph with bursts to 100 mph for a short sprint. I wait till the rpm's drop from 1200 on startup to 700...
