A CMR tune only costs in the neighborhood of $100.00. I could have a LOT of tunes done/written for $2,350.00.

A lot of the problem is the size of the pipes. 3" tend to resonate more than the 2 3/4". The bottle resonators (if equipped) and the mufflers also play a big part in the cancellation of drone.

See if you can get a set of "nearly new" exhaust manifolds with the hi-flo cats from someone's SRT..... they're actually "shorty headers". They should fit right up to your 5.7L and not fubar your O2...

Compare cars on the same dyno and the "spread" will be more accurate.
