RE: 6 speed exhaust.

No, the cats are way up front. Those are small mufflers just ahead of the rear axle. Those little mufflers up front are a straight though design. They don't do much to change the sound at all. Those...

RE: Exhaust recommendations

I deleted the rear resonators and mounted a pair of Flowmaster Super 44s in place of the stock mufflers. Here is a short vid I took before and after the swap. I still have not driven the car, so I...

RE: If you were going to buy Mopar?

I had one '89 Shadow and one '89 Daytona. Both were 4-cyl turbos with a 5-speed. Both cars ran great and served me well other than the timing belt breaking on the Shadow (I bought the car with 120K...

RE: Eibach Springs

When I go to Eibach's website and put in 2009 Challenger R/T, it comes up with two choices:
With or without "load leveling rear damper".
I was not aware of any such critter on my car.
Anybody...

RE: Old School Diehard

I wish I could have ordered the car to my specs as well.
Of course it could not be done, so I had to sit down and figure out what items I had to have. I realized I would save myself nearly ten...

RE: Best Runs with Manual R/Ts?

Did you add the 20's afterwards, or was that option checked from the get-go?
I originally wanted the 18" wheels with the 3.92 gears (because I had no intention of running factory wheels anyhow),...

RE: My R/T in snow and ice

If I was able to trade up every 5 years or so, I would drive my Challenger in the winter. However, I plan on keeping mine indefinitely. I see (first hand) every day just how bad the salt (salt,...

RE: 6.4 .... how do you feel? (08/09 owners)

If they do come out with a 6.4 or anything else that makes 500-600hp, they will have some serious thinking to do about upgrading the transmissions, driveshafts, differentials, and axles. Take a look...

RE: What in your garage?

The 4 bikes don't take up much room. One of the reasons I don't mind having a couple at a time. I think epegasus will agree with me when I say that it's hard having just one bike. One bike cannot...

RE: Pics of my R/T with 20" Torque Thrust wheels

Looks great!
2 questions:
What kind of rubber are you running on them?
What % is your window tint (almost looks photoshop'd!)?

03/09 Car & Driver (Hennessey HPE600 Turbo)

Just opened the new Car & Driver. There is a quick (2-page) article on the Hennessey Challenger HPE600 Turbo.
At 6 psi boost, they claim 620hp and 650 lb/ft. Good for a 12.2 in the 1/4 mile. Price...
