RE: TPMS

24 degree temps will easily reduce tire pressure that far, but since the one tire was low I would check to see how much the other really dropped. Adding a Nitrogen fill to you tires will help...

RE: Traction Control vs Electronic Stability

Yes that is the only way for this to work without a torque sensing diff. ;)

RE: Traction Control vs Electronic Stability

The traction control uses the same technique for controlling traction by applying the brakes to each wheel.

RE: Traction Control vs Electronic Stability

The traction control limits wheel spin and the ESP or stability programming will keep the rear of the car behind you in a slid or aggressive manuver.

RE: MOTORS TICKING

I'm pretty sure I can help you with this but since I am not allowed to give you any information (not being a forum sponsor) it is kinda hard. I waanted to help but cannot justify the money for me to...

RE: R/T 6 speed issue

Make sure they check the routing of the line to the clutch to keep it away from the heat as much as possible and that the heat sleeve is there. Bleed all the fluid out and you should be fine. The...

RE: Challenger procharger

Yes the numbers we got were corrected SAE number at the crank. I'm sure you will be within 10-15 hp of that as we did tweak the tune while we were there :-)

RE: Challenger procharger

Yes we have and the boost was 6.5 pounds, the dyno was a Mustang dyno. We did a baseline on the car and got 344rwhp and 356rwtq, this was a gain of 15rwhp from the Corsa ALONE!

We did the...

RE: Challenger procharger

Your customer will be thrilled with 620hp I'm sure and the ProCharger system looks fantastic! After a quick spin you will be looking for ANY WAY to get one for yourself. ;)

RE: diminished value help

These are really hard to quantify for an insurance company and most of them will not make this adjustment for you. With the Challenger being new and not a true collectable at this time I cannot see...

RE: UH OH! Bad sound from my new car...

Almost has to be the fan shroud seal on the edge of it. Look and see if there is one left or one side missing.

RE: RPM's at startup.

Electronics you gotta love them. This is perfectly normal as it is compensating for cold start issues.

RE: Can someone explain why the redline is at 5800 in the R/T

Different motors and cams. RT is more about the torque than the top end, 6.1 is the opposite.

RE: MMT in Gasoline in Challengers is a NO NO !

I believe the MMT is the octane booster you can buy and blend yourself not a component of station gas.

RE: Gear ratios for stick

3.73 is for 18" wheels and 3.92 goes with 20" wheels.

RE: wheel hop

Adjusting pressures down a little to decrease the tires "spring rate" will lessen this tendency. Most independent rears can exibit this because they are more compliant front to rear.

Donn,
I will let you know when they are finalized and you will be able to purchase "stage packages" new or after you havethe car either way. The first stage will be all apperance products to make...

RE: RT built right? interested?

The SRT would be nice but in the end would price itself out for most. If we order 30-40 cars at a pop we need to build them to compete with the SRT at a a similar price point with option you have...

RT built right? interested?

I cannot give specifics because I'm not quite a supporter yet but would the Challenger community be interested in a 3 stage "dealer offered" performance based RT? We are working with Dodge now and...

RE: water spots on black paint

If the spots won't come off with a good cleaner wax like meguires then I would try a claybar and instant detailer for the lube.

RE: Bolt piercing driver/passenger seat leather

I have already contacted them and they are aware and looking into it. The seat frames are supplied from a vendor so a change would need to be made at that level.

RE: Bolt piercing driver/passenger seat leather

I have not heard this complaint from them yet and as far as I can tell this is the first time it has come up. All of the LX series cars and even a jeep modle share the same seat frames and the bolts...

RE: Ponderings

With the true limited slip rear in the RT it will have a real advantage over the SRT and it's open diff with brake modulation for traction. I can see this being very easy. On the other hand if there...

RE: Bolt piercing driver/passenger seat leather

A shorter bolt would have worked but the suppliers for the seats that supply seats for many LX versions is the final assembler and they would have to mandate the change. This would no doubt have to...
