Finally They are Taking Names!!
Well finally two of six Dodge dealers I called locally are building a list of first call buyers. They are not taking deposits at this time but I spoke with the sales manager of each dealership and saw their list so it is very real and taken seriously by each the dealership owner. I gave them the "my dream car" "help and old veteran" pitch and it seemed to work.
OK, first step done. Now to wave the cash to move toward the front of the line.

man, good for you, but i dont think that i want a first run vehicle. there is no guarantee that there will be "bugs", but its more likely than if someone waits a bit. plus, even with our connection, im sure that the early ones are going to gigantic markups.

Also, they might offer more engines choices later on than initially. I don't see the point of getting one immediately.

Honestly, I think just about any year with this body style will be valuable in 30 years or less.

Sure, I totally understand your enthusiasm and excitement.
For me, I will content with getting the one that I want, no bugs, the right color, and right engine and maybe a limited edition version may be nice
if not terribly expensive. I can be patient.

Care to do any name dropping on those dealers? My brother in law is the marketing director for the Chapman group of dealerships & the last we spoke no lists no way no how. Of course you're talking about car dealers...whatever it takes to sell they will do it. [sm=icon_rock.gif]
