Installing an R/T hood

Installing an R/T hood
I have a 1970 challenger that I just purchased. I am doing my first restoration with my son, and have some issues. I'll just start with something simple.
The reveal and installation of my hood is not correct. I would like some advice on tips to properly install my r/t hood (not orig. hood). In addition to the reveal, the driver side rear part of the hood (near the window) is higher than the passenger. I guess I am just looking for tips/advice on installing.
Thank you
Tom

RE: Installing an R/T hood
The four bolts that hold it to the hinges are what needs to be adjusted. You ever so slightly loosen the bolts ( while you have someone hold each side) push in the desired direction. Up or down. Also the hinges were bad to wear out. Then tighten the bolts and ease the hood down. Check for further tweaks. I also put a folded towel under the corners near the firewall, when I'm adjusting. A small ajustment is all that is needed. seems it is magnified by the slightest of adjustments. Good luck and enjoy the resto with your son, it will be a great experience for him.
