Nice, good find. What do you think about that monsters torque. Good luck on getting traction. Let us know about that first drive and also if you need any parts along the way. We old Challenger guys and gals have got to stick together. The guys here on this site have helped me find parts I did'nt know they remanufactured. We need all the help we can get to keep these beast going. Again congradulations on the great find. A 74 and a 440 V-8, what were the chances.

been driving for two months, sat so long the guy was running race fuel, pulled the bowls off the carb looked like pink rock candy ,cleaned the system, had to change oilpan, valve cover, intake gaskets.mechanical fuel pump was running 13psi,put a regulater on ,checked msd web site for rotor&cap the msd number off the dist, did not come-up.called tech support the dist was discontiuned in 80,could still get the rotor(racing rotor)cap(gm points cap)STRANGE this also has a 76 gm alternator so it has a one wire alt.this is the part that kills me,all green interior painted black, green under every thing.crazy how it looks, its not a mutt its a pitbull.IT HAS M/T STREET ETS IT HOOKS AND BOOKS GREAT

I hope I am not right and it is hard to tell from the angle of the pictures but the front bottom section of the passenger door looks like a paint bubble. What that usually means
is it is rusting from the inside and pushing the paint out. The picture of the rear wheel looks like it is doing the same thing but to a less degree.

It looks like the same stuff I had on my '73 Challenger but I hope I am wrong. If I am right, take it to a paint/body shop and have them strip it down to metal and fix
all of that before it get worse.

You have a great looking legend to want to keep.
