Does the stock Challenger SRT8 Exhaust not have headers? I haven't seen any pics of the engine compartment where you can see a manifold, or headers for that matter.

I am not sure which way I'm going to go. All i know is that the stock exhaust needs to go. I had Flowmasters on my Dakota and the tone was perfect, but the volume was lacking. It was good for the truck but on the Challenger I need more. This car has to sound mean. I have not heard the new Flowmaster super 44's on any vehicles so I don't know what to expect... I am waiting to see I guess.

I believe that the SRT comes with short tube headers.

[sm=icon_cheers.gif] Lets have a beer and discuss this......I really don't want to argue this header point because I'm not really sure but I think "MOPAR MUSCLE" mag reported that the exhaust headers are somewhat like "SHORTY" headers but still made out of cast iron which are heavy and hold a lot of heat and I'm sure do not flow as good as aftermarket headers would. Of course going with aftermarket means a fairly stiff cost factor. just my 2 cents but maybe one of us that has got our new Challenger can pop the hood and tell what is really there?....ANYONE with a new Challenger at home??? Thanks a lot, FAT CAT[sm=gears.gif]
