RE: RT ...SRT ...hmmm?
Yah, been around a while. Just never occurred to me to actually ask the question. I just know that's the model I want
Jus' sittin' around at work with nothing better to do than browse the Challenger forum...when the SRT question popped in my head.
Anyhoo, thanks for the info, makes sense...I am surprised that it has nothing to do with the original R/T moniker...

RE: RT ...SRT ...hmmm?
They first offer the SRT line on the 2003 Viper convertible. I believe it is a Daimler inspiration to have a Chrysler Group version of the AMG performance line that Mercedes has. Dodge has the Neon SRT-4, Magnum SRT-8, Charger SRT-8, Ram SRT-10, Viper SRT-10 coupe and convertible, with the Challenger getting one as well. It has spread to the Chrysler division with the Crossfire SRT-6 and 300C SRT-8 as well as the Jeep division with the Grand Cherokee SRT-8.
