Default Car #4501 Hotchkis Bar's Installed

Well,
Got up early this morning and started the Hotchkis sway bar install. Not a tough mod....it took about 2 hours. I wish I had the bars here, when I installed the Eibach Pro-Street-S's.......I had to drop the rear suspension again to install the rear bar.
I took the car for a cruise ....to some of my favorite corners and off ramps. The car handles much better than I had hopes for!! It'll hang in the corners as well as my track ready Lexus Is300 (Running Hotchkis Bars, JIC Coilovers, UPR/LWR Strut braces, Camber/Caster Kit). The hard corning under stear is totally gone and its perfect for a little pedal stearing during autocrossing.
I'll know more October 4th. The PCA has an Autocross at Bremerton Raceway....If all goes well and its dry.......I'll get to really test the car!
TOTALLY HAPPY HERE IN OLYMPIA!

Hey nice work!

Got some questions for you...

Which part #s did you use, and where did you order from?

I'm assuming you did front/rear bars - how much diameter difference did you notice between the stock and Hotchkis bars?

I used Hotchkis SKU-22101....same part# for all the LX's and Challenger. I ordered from High Hores Performance....But BMC Performance has a great deal right now. I ordered My Eibach Pro-Street-S's #2893.711's from AJusa, but the tire Rack has a great deal right now. Yes, front and rear bars....they are 5mm bigger than factory.

Excellent. That's what I needed to know - if the Charger/LX ones were going to work.

A couple more questions, I see that includes new polyurethane bushings, were the stock ones rubber?
Are the stock sway bar end links rubber, and are you going to replace those?

Thanks much for the answers!

Yes, the factory bar mounts were rubber.....and yes, the factory drop link are rubber. No, I'm not going to swap them out yet.....you would really have to be hitting the track hard.....to notice those changes. When I do swap them out.....I'll most likey have to make my own drop links that area adjustable and use spherical bearings in the drop links. Along with that will be an entire swap of all the rubber bushing locations (A Major Task). Pedders has a great kit......I can't imagine the install cost though. The Front and Rear of these cars have Tons of rubber bushings!
I'll have to do some autocrossing next....to see what the week link and next mod will be. I'll keep you posted! As for now......the car works wonderfully.....you wont be dissaticfied with these (2) mods. I would Rank them a 9 out of 10 for the Bang for the buck

I saw these on the same site as the strut tower brace, so thought I'd mention them. Seem pricey, hard to judge if they are worth the value or not - yet!
