Default Starter button Keyless Go

This may be a redundant post but I wanted to post it anyway in case someone else was thinking of doing the same thing that I just tried. My 2009 R/T was not equipped with Keyless Go from the factory but I like the push button starter. I decided to order the starter push button to see if it would work on my car as it was only $16 bucks. Well, it snaps right in to the socket for the key fob but it doesn't do anything on my car. It was worth a shot as I am only out $16.

You probably have to have Dealer Service do the DRB Starscan whatever they hook up.
I had to pay $85 to have them tell my car about new driving lights.
