I was showing the car at work and I finally got to say the words I could only dream of saying. Does that thing have a HEMI! Yes... yes it does I have been asked that question when in my 71 and my 70 GTX. I have always wanted to say yes. And now I can Man it makes you proud This car is AWSOME

I got to say that when I had my 2003 2500. I kind of cringed because this guy wanted to race me in his truck, he had mod stickers all over his back window. I was thinking are you serious? He was in a small Chevy with mods and I was in a 2500 quad cab Ram. I mean come on. Now outside of that, it was great to say yes.

And most people have no idea there are two Hemi engine's . I used to explain the difference . But don't anymore. If you are a Mopar person you already know that.

Yeah going into the food store on Sun. Cop asked if it had the 6 or the HEMI. I grinned and said HEMI And I should of told him and 6. 6-speed trans He really liked the car and I always keep good relations with LEO.

I think the new Challenger has already gained the respect from most Car people. They may not know all the end's and outs . Or the fact there are two Hemi's in the Challenger . The 6.1 and the 5.7 . The 5.7 may not be able to match the big gun . But it still moves the car good. My R/T 6 speed really suprises many people . They can tell when I back up or pull forward from a parking spot it is not a automatic. Not that there is anything wrong with having the automatic. But most know a stick mean's performance. Or I used to think that my self. I wish there was a good comparison between the SRT 8 stick and auto and the R/T also. You have to be good at shifting the gear's to equal a good automatic. I'm not that good . But just like the feel of it. Had a guy in a low rider with all the perf. stuff on it give me a thumbs up today . And he isn't the first to do that. As to to does that thing have a Hemi . My plate read's HEMI RT .
