I noticed while washing my Stone White R/T that I was getting little amber colored speckles in the paint. It might be from tree sap.
what is the best way to get that out?

Also, once I do that, what is the best way to wax it and how often are you supposed to wax?
what are you guys using?

It is probably tree sap, and if it is, you will have it going on for a couple months, depending where you live. If you wash your car every week it should come right of with a normal washing. Do not use dish washing liquid because it removes the wax already on your car. Buy Meguiars or something similar for washing.

If you leave your car outside you will need to wax more often. If you garage your vehicle you can get by waxing less often.

The answers you get on waxing, how often, what to use will vary from person to person. My advice would be to go to Meguiars.com and check out their "how-to" center. That will give you all the info you need to make the best decsions for YOU.

I get the same thing. Yes, it's tree sap. I get it off by rubbing it gently with my Absorber cloth (a chamois-like cloth that's much better than the Sham-WOW -- it's sold at Wal-Mart and other fine stores, such as Pep Boys).

About every third time I wash the car, I go over it with Turtle Wax's Ice Spray Detailer. I really haven't waxed the car yet, as it hasn't needed it.

I recommend removing the spots with Meguiars' Ultimate Detail Spray.

Also, use Meguiars' NXT Tech 2.0 Wax for a mirror finish that lasts. Use microfiber towels to buff.
