Angry Exhaust Headers...Hitting Ground..???

I have a 1972 dodge challenger i am having a major problem with the driver's side (left) header...it hangs all the way down and every bump you hit WHAMO !!..you lose teeth fillings... I have hooker headers...any idea what headers I can use that tuck way up so it don't bottom out on every bump ? please please help reply to : dodge1972rt@aol.com

Is the header flange hitting and how old are you shocks? Both of my flanges hit all of the time, then I replaced by shocks and leaf springs (they were probably 20 years old, if not more). Now every once in a while mine scrape.

Another solution might be it raise the front end, by adjusting the torison bars. If you go this route make sure you get an alignment afterwards.

TTI might be a good choice. They have made adjustments that have made the headers better and better fitting.
