Exhaust Headers...Hitting Ground..???
I have a 1972 dodge challenger i am having a major problem with the driver's side (left) header...it hangs all the way down and every bump you hit WHAMO !!..you lose teeth fillings... I have hooker headers...any idea what headers I can use that tuck way up so it don't bottom out on every bump ? please please help reply to : dodge1972rt@aol.com

Is the header flange hitting and how old are you shocks? Both of my flanges hit all of the time, then I replaced by shocks and leaf springs (they were probably 20 years old, if not more). Now every once in a while mine scrape.
Another solution might be it raise the front end, by adjusting the torison bars. If you go this route make sure you get an alignment afterwards.

I have TTI headers on my 70 Challenger with a 440 six pack.They fit great and I've never had a ground clearance problem like other headers I've had in the past.Thier headers go above the steering linkage and are the way to go.Expensive yes but worth every cent!!!
