First thing you need to do HCX Perfomance is chop the quarters off put a straight cuda body line on or no one will buy your cars. From there put 71 style cuda' tail lights on and please put a flat hood or a cuda' hood on. The grill will have to be a 71 cuda grill style grill. Those black rims are hideous and im not meaning to slam you or what you plan to do, just trying to help you guys out. Put a set of 15' Rally wheels and some meaty tires and a straight axle dana 60. The billboards look too plain will have to have 392 or whatever the motor is.
We're not going for a an exact "replica" of the 71 Cuda, just a 71 Cuda inspired re-creation. Of course up close, picking the thing apart, you'll be able to list off several details which are not true to the Cuda. We want to build a vehicle that resembles the 71 Cuda, and has a sticker price most Challenger buyers could afford (either new from a dealership, or upgrading their Challenger to an HXC). The main goal is to build a vehicle that at first glance, whether at a car show, on the street, or flying down the highway, will make people think of the Cuda (the Banners being the reason).

If the aftermarket gets slammed with a ton of 71 Cuda parts; front grill, tail lights, etc.. I have no problem building a more customized version of our car to get as close to a replica 71 Cuda as possible. For our first vehicle though, this is the direction we are going.

We are building what We feel is cool. From the bright retro-colors, to the black wheels, silver brembos, and most importantly the banners.

We want to build a complete car, that anyone could take home, get tons of looks on the street, and feel happy about their purchase, while at the same time, leave enough of the vehicle alone to allow individuals to further upgrade as they see fit. Our base vehicle will have all the visual "Bang", while keeping costs down everywhere else so we can get this vehicle in Dodge showrooms for a price that many can actually afford. Down the road we'll have a Supercharged version, as well as something even hotter, with much more exterior and interior modifications.

Now this isn't a great Cuda because someone chopped it from Photochop and a Mustang, but it's still something that on parts of it look nice, especially the red one where someone went a little further and actually made it look like a Cuda with the intake. I have that almost exact red one on my calendar at work right now, of course it being a 70 Cuda.

HXC Performance 7/20/07

We are starting a prelimiary 2008 HXC Cuda Order List.

For all those interested, we recommend getting on the list.

Zero commitment is needed. This is purely a preliminary list for those that might be interested in the 2008 HXC Cuda. With that being said, this list will still represent the first HXC Cuda Orders when the time comes for those still interested (spring/summer 2008).

No personal information is needed.
-Name (First name, Last initial)
-City/State
-Email (contact/updates)

If you would like to be added to the 2008 HXC Cuda list, please email your information to HXCPerformance@gmail.com

We have updated our myspace page with details of our innovative proposed ordering process. (Allows you to order an HXC Cuda online and not deal with the hassles of local Dodge Dealerships)

thats not true at all...those cars arent "chopped from a mustang"...that is an designers rendering of what it "could" look like...the designer has assisted ford motor company before, and he has posted at one of my other forums...he is a very talented individual.

Yes, Mr Schramm has been using his great talents for quite some time.

I actually think these renderings are interesting. Not sure I agree with the rear fender as, in my minds eye, the Cuda was basically a Challenger absent the swoop over the rear fender in the A-Line. What the heck do I know though...

I could see these on the road and be happy.

The difference between the 'Cuda and the Challenger was more than the rear fenders. The Challenger was 5" longer (191.5" to 186.7"), 2" wider (76.5" to 74.9"), and slightly higher (51" to 50.9"). Also, the 'Cuda was marketed as Chrysler's no-nonsense performance car, while the Challenger was slightly more civilized with more "creature comforts" (e.g., Plymouth Road Runner vs. Dodge Charger).

I am speaking strictly visually and in a very general way. For the average person on the street the cars looked pretty close. I think the rear fender in this rendering resembles todays Charger or Avenger. I would simply get rid of it...again, I am no expert.

RE: 2009 'Cuda?

My fault. I got that information from the message board that I took it off of, and I can see the similar platform to the Mustang. Very similar considering DaimlerChrysler doesn't have a platform with this short of a body, at least what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. The red one that I posted was however chop shop, I believe. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. That one is the only one I saw that wasn't on his original website.
