Real Challengers?
I hate to start this off in a negative way, but do you guys think these Mitsub's were real Challengers? I'm afraid I don't, even if they were badged that way. :Ducks for cover:

RE: Real Challengers?
Probably as much as the Omnirizon hatchbacks or Magnum sedans are Chargers........[:'(]

RE: Real Challengers?
Yeah I know, but at least those are actual Dodge products. These things were a disgrace IMHO.

*drives away in his mitsubishi powered stratus coupe, crying* :(

RE: Real Challengers?
I call them fake Challengers. Just like I called our 85 Charger (yes my wife and I owned one of them once) a fake Charger.

RE: Real Challengers?
so does that make my 1987 turbo daytona a fake daytona since its not a wing car? [&o]

RE: Real Challengers?
Didn't want to offend anyone thats just what I call them. I did like the little Charger. I always wanted to convert it to a V8 rear drive and go rice hunting.

RE: Real Challengers?
I drove one of the early Shelby Chargers back when they were current... I think it was an '84? Other than the sloppy shifter on the manual tranny, it was fun to drive. Had a fair amount of get up and go, at least for anything made in the early '80's....

RE: Real Challengers?
What a disgusting looking car. No it should have never worn that name.
By that is just my opinion. Jeremiah 29:11 |
RE: Real Challengers?
Doesn't this car look like the Mitsubishi Challenger above. Very similiar.
