Well , much to my chagrin when I contacted Rider Graphix as to the manufacturer/type (3M , Oracal) and thickness (2,3,4 mil)of the vinyl used I got the blow off from them.
Thier answer to "[size=2]We use 6 year material for those stripes, but if the car is garaged they will last much longer."[/size]. Never answered as to manufacturer or thickness.. evasive?.... most definately...
.. to me that means run of the mill sign shop material which means that it will peel at the corners and is not nearly as durable as "factory" stripes/material, and for the money they charge for a kit, I'll use my own Roland vinyl cutter with the proper heavy duty materials....
