Carbon Fiber
 

I have an 09 Hemi-orange SRT8. It has the carbon fiber hood stripes. Those look like decals to me. I've been reading some articles and it said the 08s showed the actual carbon fiber from the hood.

So, the 08 has real CF and the 09 just has stripes? Is that correct or not?

The 08 was suppose to be the only year for CF stripes....steel hood....:eek:

no both are stickers....

The concept Challenger had a carbon fiber hood and the stripe wasn't painted.

Ok, so there is no hope of getting the same material to make side-stripes with. Revolution Motorsports has a carbon fiber side stripe, but its a different carbon fiber than the hood.

I just returned from my dealer and he had three 09 SRT's....all had CF stripes.
So much for a one year only thing....And one was Hemi orange, again only an 08
thing....oh well....
(By the way, he said the SE's were the best selling models on the lot...seems a lot
of people just want the looks....and the lower price)
