Door ding repair advice

I need advice on repairing a small door ding I noticed while washing my Challenger yesterday. The ding a slightly smaller than marble sized, a little larger than pea sized and fairly shallow located on the lower half of the passenger side door. Anyone have advice on how best to fix? Does the dry ice method actually work on these small dings or is it more "urban legend"? How about the hot glue and dent puller method, although I must admit the thought of hot glue on the paint scares the #%*$ out of me. My thanks in advance.

If you live in a decent sized town you should have some sort of ding repair in the yellow pages. Otherwise call your dealer and ask them who they use for their used car department. Your insurance company will know of a company as well.

The "Ding King," as seen on TV and generally available at Walgreen's, does NOT use hot glue. The stuff is about like rubber cement, if you've ever used that. Surprisingly, the puller works quite well.

Dry ice also works, if you happen to live in a really HOT place, the car is dark-colored and if it sits out in the sun all day.
