Just a little something

I got my windows tinted today. I got the Arizona legal thirty five per cent on the front side windows and limo black on the rear side and rear window. It looks totally awesome. I also got a Hemi Orange banner Challenger across the front window. It sure is sweet. Pic tomorrow after I get it detailed again.;)

Not to mention a stuffed dog in the rear window with eyes that light up whenever he puts on the turn signal. :D

Instead of the dog in the back window, how about one of these?

1. Hit Gas
2. Pass Mustang
3. Squeeze Ball

Great idea! But with limo tint in the back window, who would see it?

Paladin, I was just on your website and wanted to quickly comment on how much I love your new Challenger. That HEMI Orange is poppin'! You must be loving life. Oh, I almost forgot - great vanity plate by the way. The tint job is perfect, but the jury is still out for me on the window decal...

Looks nice! Five days of Dont roll down the windows now.

Thinking of tinting mine when it gets here. Probably wont get mine til October or November so the need to get it done immediately wont be as great in upstate NY, not to mention the legality - although my wife hasnt been stopped for hers yet - 35% all around - but they mentioned the missing front plate - again.
Maybe a CAI and good pair of sunglasses - at first anyway.
;)

I WANT ONE OF THOSE! I think here in NY, its considered a required signaling device.;)

RE: Just a little something

How does not rolling down the window for five days (I've always been told 2 days) affect the windows automatically lowering when closing the doors? Can you not drive the car for 5 days?

Paladin06 07-21-2008 07:43 AM

RE: Just a little something

It only takes one or two days here with daytime temp hitting 108 and night time temp of 80. When applying the tint simply trip the door latch, with the door open, so the computer thinks the door is closed. The window goes full up, you apply tint, no problem.

RE: Just a little something

Had the wifes done here in NY in April and they said to keep em closed for 5 days to let the film cure.
Im sure the Arizona temps in July make it a much quicker drying process than what we have here.
