Pentastar Emblem
I want to put a pentastar emblem on my Challenger, does anyone know where they used to put these, I know they go on the lower part of the fender under the Challenger script name badge, was there one on each side or just one used on one side and where exactly were they placed? Thanks!

Lower right fender -- right in front of the door--about 4" above the rocker panel;)--there was only one emblem

i actually had a friend measure his 70 for me, i think it was 8.75 up from the bottom
and 6.5 forward of the door but don't quote me because i don't have the measurements here at work. RareTa, if you have time maybe you can measure and post up on the site for future reference |
The T/A is still in the trailer so it's going to be a while before I get to it. If you look close at this pic you can see where I put mine on the R/T.

Oddly, my '70 had Pentastars on both fenders. But it also originally had the little turning light indicators on the tops of the fenders (I had them removed when the car was painted -- they never worked), so maybe the dual Pentastars were part of that package.

I would have to say someone added the left side one. They were only put on the right side from the factory. I have a Duster with the fender mounted turn signal also ant it only has the right Penta star.

They did put a pentastar on the left fender for European export cars. The reasoning for the emblem was to put it on the side that people on sidewalks would see it.
