Default The Secret is out....

Ok... so I was on ebay looking around to see what parts were available cheaper then retail and found the functional intake for our hoods, and the hood struts. These are genuine Mopar OE parts as well. I found a dealer on ebay and they refused to give me part numbers. I can understand they want to make some $$ but it would help sales if they would have just helped.

Anyways I found out that the SRT scoops will fit on our cars. The scoop has a rubber end that fits into the slot and simply pulls through the small rectangular cut out on the underside of the hood which directs the air over the headers.

And the struts are the OE from the SRT as well.

Inserts part #'s
55399338-ab - L
and
55399339-ab - R

The inserts look like this:

I will post the strut part number tomorrow.

I wrote the same guy on the 1" lowering springs they have on Ebay. He gave me the same story. Did you get a chance to call the local dealer for pricing? So far my local dealer has been beating all pricing I've seen on Ebay on genuine MOPAR parts. Also there is a listing for some stainless grilles for those who'd like to dress up the intake... #220319858273

yeah got pricing this morning, the inserts are $38 cdn a side, which isn't too bad, and the struts are $64, so I couldn't complain,

just added a few new peices to the car, installed the doorsill plates, and just picked up the functioning hood inserts and the hood props, my car cover will be here Thursday and the JBA headers have been ordered. Still haven't worked in the time to do the springs but I may just hold off until spring.

Canuck, Checkout 03HDFB on this forum he lower his 1.75 inches front and back. With Eibach springs same springs as for Charger and 300. Look under the thread X-MAS INSTALL for his webpage. There are pics of his car before and after of being lowered. Cheers
