Default T/A style exhaust

Im curious if anybody has tried this, or is planning on it. I plan on trying to convert my exhaust out the sides right in front of the rear wheels. After looking at pics of Andres undercarrige and from Hot Rod magizine, I think maybe a short set of flowmaster mufflers could fit and still provide space for a side exit.

I do not think you will have proper clearance for the fuel tank.

I doubt if there is enough clearance.

Hope you can pull it off...would be unique to see and definetly a Challenger/cuda trait. I cannot think of any other mopar besides the Viper that had factory side exhaust.

Well to this point, after looking at everyone else's 09 come out, I decided just to go for broke and bought two flowmasters, part number 52580, 80 Series T/A mufflers. Same inlet size as the R/T exhaust. After looking at the underside of an 08 in person, It looks like it will be tight, but I will find a way to get them under there, maybe lift the back a bit or route them somewhere else.
