Challenger leads list of hot new cars

I was wondering how hot it was.
Apparently it's "super hot" and one of the top leaders.

How many do you think they will make for 2009?
Can it reach 132,000 in a year like the Mustang?
Is Dodge going to artificially limit the production even before the
new CAFE law takes effect in 2011?

Here is the most useful piece of information in that article:

"Waiting is a good option because sooner or later -- sometimes within weeks or months after a blazing introduction, even the hottest cars cool off."

That can be said about anything, so that advice is nothing new or particularly enlightening. I remember when CD's came out and they were $20+ dollars compared to just a few bucks for cassettes or vinyl, I waited for the price to go to $10 before I finally started replacing my old albums with CD's. When HDTV came out I waited until the price dropped thousands on plasma TV's, I just don't want to wait for prices to drop on the Challenger because, I WANT IT NOW!

I don't want to wait til "sooner or later" but I do understand and appreciate that some people will wait for the price to drop. How long will you have to wait? I think it will be longer than most think before they drop enough to make a difference, at least for me.

I remember it took a year for the 2005 Mustang price to drop after the demand died down and that is why we got a 2006 Mustang instead.

reminds me of something I heard while watching NASCAR, (in relation to 5g's unrefundable), when you're enjoying an eggs and ham breakfast, the chicken's serious, the pig's committed! ;)
