Dealer Ads
An ad for the 2008 Challenger SRT has appeared in the Courier-Post- a regional newspaper for southern NJ. Mt. Ephraim Chrysler Dodge had a full page color ad advertising a 0% interest 72 mo. loan or $8,000 off MSRP for all 2007 leftovers. The ad included images of a dozen Chrysler/Dodge models.
In the center of the page was a 4" x 2" image of a Hemi-Orange Challenger SRT with the caption-Coming Soon The Revolutionary Challenger SRT8. :) Since this dealership will only be getting 2 or 3 SRTs, I guess that they will park one in the showroom and use it as a draw for customers. This is the first Challenger ad that I have seen. The paper also included a write-up, last week, of the Challenger in the New Cars Section. Has anyone else seen Challenger ads in their local newspapers? |
RE: Dealer Ads
I haven't seen any ads in the St. Louis paper and I believe that's because they don't have any to sell. Once these cars hit the streets and they have some inventory on the way you will see them advertise more aggressively. No 08 cars available, no pricing on 09's just yet, so I guess they feel why advertise?

RE: Dealer Ads
I doubt our local media even knows the Challenger exists

RE: Dealer Ads
Despite the Challenger being pictured on the FRONT PAGE of the San Antonio Express-News a couple times (as promos during the unveiling of the concept model and when it was thought it would be at the S.A. auto show -- it wasn't, as things turned out), no ads at all from Dodge.

RE: Dealer Ads
Saw an ad in the St. Louis paper today for the Challenger. It read, "The Challenger IS HERE!!" (Pic of Hemi Orange Challenger below) followed by "Get in Line" In other words, don't expect a discount.
