Don't like the interior of the Challenger? Tired of people giving you a hard time about how much it weighs? They're now selling the body in white. 5500 + Freight. When I ran the calculator the freight was about a grand. So....all you need then is a chassis, some seats, a drivetrain, fuel system, engine, suspension etc.

I guess this is one way of lightening your new Challenger:

This 2010 Challenger body in white is being offered by an after market supplier at $6,000.00 (Right now they are selling them for $5,500.00).

The company is located in SC, however, I wonder if you can go directly to the factory and buy one since that is where this company has to get them. And I also wonder how long they will be available, as in the past, the factory would only offer bodies in white for a short period of time near the beginning of the production year so as not to effect the regular production line.

If you remember, back in the day the factories would offer bodies in white for a short period of time to racers, so that they didn't have to buy a new complete vehicle, only to strip it down and discard most of in order just to get a plain body to build their racers.
