Yes, those are outstanding pix, dude. Good find Paladin. I like the interior shots. Excuse this, if it is a faux paus, but I find it interesting how the parking brake is on the floor and not a hand brake in the console.

I'm sure the Charger/300C/Magnum are similar; I just find it interesting.

 

Call me a sourpuss, killjoy, whatever... I don't think the SE model should have the same scooped hood as the R/T and SRT8 - I think they should have a standard flat hood. If EVERY Challenger has a scooped hood, it kinda loses its "wow" factor. Think if every 70-74 Challenger or Cuda had a shaker hood, even the Slant-6 models... wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, would it. [&:]

While I'm harping on the SE models (actually harping on Dodge), they need to dump that stuck-in-the-90's 4-speed automatic once and for all. Surely that was chosen as a cost-saving measure, but imagine how much MPG they could get if they had the same 6-speed auto that's in the Avenger. They should give the SE a choice of a manual tranny also - it's a shame that the SE buyers are gonna get hosed with such a prehistoric transmission choice (or lack of a better one).

I'm getting the 08 SRT but if I wasn't I would get the 09 R/T. Lots of pluses and easier on the wallet. JMHO

 

What the hell??? The 09 SRT8 isn't available in orange???

 

I've never understood the SRT's color option strategy either (or lack thereof). For whatever reason they keep insisting on limiting their color choices, or offer very desirable colors for only a very limited time... somebody needs to smack these SRT guys upside the head. They make a sweet car but then they short-change us on any real color choices other than the usual tired red silver and black...

 

YES!!! It really stinks and we CANNOT let this STAND!!! We have to DO something about it! We have to contact those people somehow and really voice our displeasure about this situation!!!
It is still early in the game and we have to change their stupid color policy right now!!! This junk has GOT to END!!! I DON'T want to pay lots of money for a color car that I don't like!!!!!!!!
Let's not take this lying down! LET'S DO SOMETHING!!! Lets find those Dodge people and straighten things out! I mean this is really awful and I do not just want to suffer this gladly.
I want SUBLIME!!!!!

Lets put our heads together and put our resources and information together and figure out how to change this awful color policy!

 

on the bright side, the manual comes with a 3.91 rear end ratio. That oghta kick some serious arse off the line.
