DC just announced a sudden build out of 2009 models. All models.

 

I searched this and saw a reference to early build out of Aspen and Durango, but not all models. Can you post a link for this story?

Damm Public School Education...I learned in school that the year ran through December, not April!
(I know that the model year starts early, but cutting off by April?? This must mean that the 2010 Challengers will be totally different and the best Challenger ever!!!!!!!!.....can't wait!!!)

 

April does seem like an early cutoff for orders. Especially given that the Classic package was just introduced.

 

Is that stating that if you don,t order a Classic pkg. by 4-24-09 that you won,t get one? If they don,t offer it in 10,then you would be screwed.

 

That's what it seems to imply, based on thei link posted. Final Order Due Date is 4/24. Now of course dealers can order them, and then they'll be on the lot available for purchase, so it's not like you can't get a classic package after 4/24. But how many, and with what sub-optimal combinations of options, who knows?

 

I wouldn't worry too much about the "classic package." A regular model with the addition of a couple sets of stripes and a couple script Challenger badges and ... voila! ... A Classic Package.
