2 Mods down...2 to go

Just got done installing the 1-4 skip shift eliminator and my new functional air intakes.....drives much nicer now that I have full control over my manual transmission. Took about 5 minutes to install each one. I noticed that the air intakes keep the temp down a little, the temp gauge was slightly lower during normal operation...also a lot of heat dissipated out the vents after I turned it off. I know it doesn't do anything for horsepower, but keeping underhood temps down is very important for the longevity of the motor, hoeses., etc...Next on my list is a C&L intake, windows tinted, and possibly a diablo tuner way down the road. Dodge sure did a damn good job on these cars.

Nice touch. I think you will be pleased with the Diablo Preditor tuner. Set it on 93 octane and watch the ponies increase.

What mods can be done without voiding the warranty ?

Hey guys, still waiting for my B5 Blue 6 speed, but I am curious if any of these mods will void the dealer warranty ? Any ideas out there. Thanks.

Not on the skip shift eleiminator or the open element air intake. But the Diablo tuner if you are found to have it on will put you at risk. That is why you save the factory tune and install it when you go in for service. Takes about 5 min. to unload and reload. The Diablo Preditor really adds some kick to your engine. Its a nice bump up in power. You can add some bolt ons and it will not void the warranty. Headers, exhaust and suspension mods seem to be fine, but always ask if there is a gray area.
