2010 GT Mustang
Well I had business in SC and I spent the weekend there. I was heading home on Sunday and had just turned off of Hwy. 123 to go to I-85. A guy in a new Blue Mustang GT let me in the inside lane so I could make my turn. He followed me on to the on ramp and proceded to speed up behind me. As I entered the four lane I jumped to the outside and he went to the inside and pulled past me. He then slowed down and I pulled up beside him. He rolled the window down and said nice car and I returned him with a nice car. It was a really nice looking GT blue with aftermarket black wheels. The tail lights were smoked and had dark tint on the windows. The car was slammed to the ground and sounded mean. He asked if I wanted to hit it off @ 45. No traffic so I said sure. Three honks and we hit it. I expected to put a few cars on him and he put one on me. As we hit the next gear he put another one on me. I was a little suprised. He shut her down at about 90 and had 2-3 cars on me. He asked me what I had done and I told him resonator removal. He then told me he was supercharged and it was a Vortex. Well he asked to slow down to 35 and hit it again, I said sure. 3 honks and I pulled away and saw him in the rear view mirror just spinning his tires. I waited and he pulled along side and asked if I saw what happened. I did and that was the end of anymore runs. He had a nice ride and a mean running machine. I post win or lose and this was a loss. So let this be a lesson not to run supercharged cars unless you have a turbo, blower or a nice shot of nitros. Or a really nice 426 stroker. LOL

There will always be someone faster. I learned this a long time ago. That's why, I am not regretting buying a 6.1, unlike others, when the 6.4 may be available soon. I have a great car that is the reincarnation of my old 1971 'Cuda. I am just thrilled that Dodge decided to turn the 2006 concept car in a production model.
