Color production numbers?

Do any of you all know the production numbers on the Hi-Impact colors?Like how many Det yellows were built, how many B5,ect. I got a real good deal on a Det yellow,B5 blue, and a Plum crazy.I,m leanin more toward the yellow but the B5 is real sweet too.I,m less impressed with the purple.I can get these all for invoice which is about $2000 off of sticker.I,d like to know the production #,s of these colors.

Nice price. You can't go wrong on any of those colors, they all pop! There was a print out on the 09s and it was after production numbers. So you may have to wait until they start 2011 production to get those #s.

Thanks for the response. What happened to all of the activity on this site?It appears dead.I like the yellow, but I also like the orange.I can,t make up my mind.

lear4406 04-25-2010 10:52 PM

Not too sure on the activity, but it comes and goes. I think it will really pick up when the 2011 is annouced as a 6.4 xxx hp. Should see some buzz then for sure. Both those colors are really eye catchers and with the right stripes, should really stand out in a crowd of really nice Muscle cars. Just imagine a yellow classic with black R/T stripes...... cool.

From what I read on another site DY is the rarest of those three colours.

I vacialted back & forth, back & forth over color selection. One minute I thought I wanted Dentator Yellow, the next Plum Crazy -- since the decision was driving me crazy I went with ......

Ridge Runner 05-02-2010 07:59 AM

You did good plum.I never thought I would have so much trouble makin up my mind.If it was a regular transportation car then it would be no big deal. But I,m goin to keep this baby forever and don,t want to second guess myself.Should I have gotten the purple instead,or the yellow,or the blue, orange, etc.I don,t want to go thru that,I want to be sure.If I was goin to order,I would give the nod to orange. But the orange one I seen had issues, and the super deals our on a PC,B5,and a DY.I really like the yellow, but every little car(like cavaliers) and trucks that are yellow I think are butt ugly. I,m worried that after time I will feel the same thing about the DY.Plus I was gettin pressured about the $2000 accessories program ending.I,m not goin to rush and take my chances that either it will be continued,or something better program will be in place. The dealers have had these cars for some time,so I,m not concerned that someone is goin to walk right in and grab em.I,d rather them take the $2000 off the price of the car instead of makin you pick stuff.

Well mine is a "regular" transportation car; I just like to be transported in style :D

Even though I liked the B5, there are still a lot of "Blue" cars on the road. Since my Vette is Competition Yellow I was "thinking" about doubling up, but my daughter pretty much insisted the Plum Crazy had my name written all over it. While comments & compliments weren't the reason I choose it, I sure do get a lot of them.

I almost went Plum Crazy but decided on Brilliant Black once the white stripes were available.

Great choice. The black on black just don,t do it for me.

RareTA 05-13-2010 11:17 AM

While all the colors are great .....I new from the get-go mine had to be orange. I was in love the first time I saw it in Carlisle.

Looks damn nice too, but there is nothing prettier then a "Clean" Black Car, and I've never found how to keep one clean. Although with all the dang pollen the Plum Crazy isn't a walk in the park either. Damn I need to clean out my garage!

I don't know. I just can't see myself driving a Fuchsia car.:p

Everything else I could do easy. I almost wanted to hold out for the Sublime Green, but the Plum one kept calling my name -- ever so quietly

I thought the same thing about PC until I seen one.I thought(man I wouldn,t be caught dead in a purple car).I ordered a HO Classic last week, but the PC really is nice too.The Fuchsia car will probably look prettier every time you see it(unless you totaly hate pink)but I would never consider ordering one unless their was no other classic hi-impact colors available. From a collecting standput,it will be a homerun.I think that is why alot of guys want it.

The panther Pink ( fuchsia ) will be the one to get & hide in a barn , only to drive on the 3rd Sunday of every other month in a even numbered year.

I have been hounding my local sales Mgr about when we can fill out the order form.

Woud go with limited options, Leather, Performance Pkg if avaiable.

we will see:confused:

Furious Fuscia

I have seen the Furious Fuscia show cars close up and in person and its a killer color. Go with white stripes instread of black and I would pass on the champagne seats and go with black... Just my 2cents ...and sublime is on the way along with go-mango for 2011.

I forget, isn,t Go Mango a shade of yellowish Orange?

Motor City Mark 05-18-2010 04:15 PM

Go Mango

The 2010 Go Mango looks almost like the 1970 burnt orange Metallic to me.

Gotta admit, I was going with the 2011 Mustang GT with the new 5.0 then I saw the Challenger with the plum crazy and that is all I needed to see. I had a 1970 covertable in plum crazy and this car reminded me of it. Glad I made this choice.

Another stupid thing on my part was once I made up my mind on the Plum Crazy; I couldn't decide on the damn stripes either. Went back & forth with the White or Black decision. I really do like the White Stripes, but sort of felt they went best with the White Interior, and there is just NO way I could/would do a White Interior, so Black it was.

In the long run a good decision because I'm going to do the Black Shaker Hood & Go Wing, so the Black Stripes match up nice.

dragontamer63 06-21-2010 05:48 PM

Nothing quite like, after making the initial decision to invest in a new car, agonizing over colors and fabrics and assorted options. It was almost overwhelming for me but ultimately the color decision was made for me and I'm quite pleased with it.
The condensed version is... Once I made up my mind to buy my 2010 R/T, I was leaning toward either black or white (white being my homage' to Kowalski's white 70 R/T). Unfortunately they had neither on the lot. I said "ok, let's order it up then". I had just test drove a Torrent red R/T, which was the determining factor in my decision to finally buy a "brand new" car after 30 years of driving beaters. The salesman asked "what can we do to put you in that red one?" The answer was easy..."Drop the price of it" I replied. They did, quite significantly I might add, and now I have one of the sexiest red cars I've ever driven parked in my driveway. I couldn't be happier.
Yes I consider myself to be a man of principle and I'm typically pretty resolute but........even I have my price :D.
