I ordered an R/T on 2/7/09. The only tracking site I could find was the dodgechallengerregistry.com. The tracking page on the Dodge website is gone for some reason. Everything was going well with the car build completed on 4/28/09. It was then shipped from the plant in Brampton, Ont. to a facility in West Seneca, NY. What is this facility for? It was then scheduled (famous last word) to leave that facility at 12:01am 5/4/09 (today) en route to the dealership where I ordered the car. The bankruptcy status concerned me, so I called Dodge who said if the car is built and has left the factory, there would be no interruption to the estimated delivery date. I sent an email to the General Manager and Sales Manager at the dealer last week if there would be any delays, but no reply. The VinWin lookup tool on the registry website has now deleted the Vehicle Delivered to Dealer from the Route Movement column and the Dealer Deliver ETA line above now says "No ETA available." Has bankruptcy in fact affected delivery of cars even though they are built and left the factory? What happened to the tracking page on the Dodge website? Is there another tracking website?

 

Man I hope not. Heres wishing you a speedy delivery. The time is perfect for breaking in that bad boy. Weather is here and your car is beautiful. So I hope you get it real soon and let the fun begin. Keep us up to date the best you can and if it gets delivered soon... some pics would be sweet.

 

Hang in there Chuck,you are pretty well guranteed your ride,delivery after completion should not be a issue.On the other hand,us waitin to order for a special color are probably screwed. Also the recently ordered cars are up in limbo. This really sucks.

Thanks for the support! Spring is a great time for a new car. I just hope it gets here soon. The "Future" portion of the VinWin site was removed, so who knows when it's coming? I pasted the info below. The shippers have held up somewhat to make sure they get paid during bankruptcy, so hopefully the delay will be minimal. I'll definitely get some pictures!
