What do the stars mean?
 

I've used other BBS before and noticed that some have a ratings system that somehow indicates the "quality" of the poster. Does this have anything to do with the stars under our names or are the stars simply a measure of post count?

its a measure of post count..it goes along with the title..like yours is "starting member".

if anyone has suggestions about better user titles, let me know.

How about not using the nascar designations. How about something like (slant six,318,340,360,383,400,413,426 wedge,426 Hemi,440). Just a suggestion.

however, what is the proper hierarchy? i have a little 340 that will/can/has put a stompin' to many a big block...:)

Been there done that! I was just thinking of a progression by displacement. I also left out a few because some of the younger guys might not know about some of the more "obscure" engines. 170 slantsix, 273, 318poly, 331,354 and 392-old hemis.

how about we just do motors that were offered in the Challengers? i believe that 1970 offered the most engine options, so we could use this, and i have added the 74 360 as well. maybe ditch the 198 rom the deputy and just start with "slant six member"?

what i could also do, i have the title say "1970 Challenger Owner", or "Former 1970 Challenger Owner"...this way, those who have never been lucky enough to own a challenger would have an "engine title", and the owners would be recognized.
